Who Wears 👖 Pants?
Updated: Jul 25, 2023
What an adventure recently. Valuable lessons lost and learned. Traveling for work can be stressful. Going on site to a customer location whether internal or external there is a certain standard protocol you should generally try to follow. Never leave home without pants. Ladies and gentlemen always have a pair or kahki or black pants that can be worn for dress, be considered business appropriate or business casual. If your heading to resort or ⛱️ type locations does not mean shorts and flowery shirts are appropriate. Bring appropriate work atire shoes as well. Just because your office might have gone casual or you work remote in workout bottoms all day does not mean it is ok with the customer. Research or ask before you go what is the appropriate dress code. Asking never hurts and always prepares you.
Always, have a deodorant wipe packet, toothbrush and toothpaste in a carry on in case you get stuck or have an overnight flight and hit the ground running on arrival. More suggestions on this in another blog.
So who wears the pants? You won't if you don't plan appropriately. It can be a very expensive lesson as we just learned. Pants were missed in packing and it was $150 unplanned expense.
There are some great pants online if you do a little research that are wrinkle free, easy to pack and comfortable.
