Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

We have been going to Myrtle Beach, SC since the 1970's. It is amazing to watch it transition over the years. A golfers haven. You have a choices to stay in North Myrtle Beach or Myrtle Beach. There are other locations north and south that we will cover in a different blog.

During the COVID-19 pandemic we had the opportunity to spend a month there in December. It was so nice to be out of the cold and enjoying the sunshine and much walking on the beaches.

December can be chilly but nothing like the northern states.

If you don't want to eat at home or where you are staying. There seems like endless restaurants to select from for breakfast - dinner and perhaps a late night snack. We lost count on the number of pancake houses we saw.
