Intragastric Balloon & Domestic Travel
We finally decided to take a weekend trip and see how air travel would be with the having the balloon. In preparation we called the airlines who directed us to TSA Cares. We explained that the intragastric balloon was medical equipment placed in the stomach with no medal. After a super helpful conversation with the TSA Care representative we were ready to go. They advised us to carry the equipment card and notify the TSA officers on arrival at security. The experience was very good and everyone was very helpful. We will definitely travel again while the balloon is still placed.
